Cosmetic Grade (GG-COS) is one of Apeksha Enterprises' 14 application-engineered guar gum grades, developed specifically for cosmetic and pet nutrition manufacturers. Premium whiteness for personal care. Skin hydration, viscosity control, film-forming in creams and hair care. It is formulated for use in creams, lotions, hair care, at a typical dosage of 0.1–1.5% depending on your target texture and process conditions.

Formulation Guidance
Viscosity builds gradually at room temperature and faster under mild heat (40–50°C) with agitation — over-shearing during incorporation can permanently reduce final viscosity, so add guar gum early in the process at moderate mixing speed rather than at the end under high shear.
For leave-on skin and hair products, pair with a preservative system validated for the pH range of your finished formula, since guar gum itself is not a preservative and unpreserved aqueous gels are vulnerable to microbial growth.
